Introduction:
It has often been said of India that “you either love it or you hate it”. It is not a nation one can react to with indifference. In our prayer focus today, you will learn why this nation is not one that YWAM can overlook if we are determined to see the world transformed by Christ.
One of our ministry leaders in India writes to introduce you to India, and there is no short way to do this. He describes India as a colourful weaving of different threads, and each of his points will lead you into intercession for a significant part of this influential nation.
Two testimonies follow, which give you a personal glimpse into the life of our YWAMers in India. India has the highest number of unreached people groups in the world, and our YWAM church-planting teams are passionate that all Indians should know the love of Christ. They are willing to suffer for that passion, as the testimony from the persecuted state of Orissa will demonstrate.
Let us stand together today to intercede for the beloved, challenging, colourful, unpredictable nation of India.
